I love sitting on the third level because the view while eating a great rice bowl adds to the experience. Recommend to everyone and everyone I've recommended this place to has loved it. "We had Unagi Don ($16.5), Chicken Katsu Don ($14.5), Tempura Udon and Chicken Udon ($14.5 each). They tasted okay but not too outstanding compared to high quality authentic Japanese food. This will be a cheap alternative whenever you are craving for Japanese food on a low budget."

"Great place, quick and friendly service, semi-regularly get the $9.9 Katsu Curry, always prepared fresh but only takes about 2 minutes for them to make it. Super super efficient. Great selection of Sushi etc also"

"Honten was busy at weekday lunch, but orders were taken and pumped out quickly. The salad accompanying the meals were fresh, and the meals tasty. At the time of this review, you also get a free bottle of water or can drink if you spend more than $10."

"Really good sushi at a fair price. Their fried chicken is nice and moist though I think it’s mostly breast. The gyoza is really yummy too. It gets very busy during lunch so probably better to visit during off peak time"

"Delicious food at a reasonable price! I’ve only been in the afternoons when it’s been quiet bit a great atmosphere, fresh hot food. But of a limited range at 2pm but as expected to be visiting so late. Have seen the range earlier in the day and must have an early lunch break one day to try more of the sushi options!"
